MA History, Film and Television

 This interdisciplinary Masters programme is designed to help you take the specialist academic knowledge from your first degree and apply it in practical ways to kick-start your career in broadcasting or scholarly research.

Combining academic and professional training, the programme provides hands-on skills with a core of understanding about how the industry works, promoting both critical and creative thought. A three-month placement in a screen media company and regular guest speakers from the industry equip you with real experience and contacts to call on as you move into employment.

How to Apply

 

Dave Pelham is interested in a wide range of topics including classical history and literature, photography and football. Studying such an interdisciplinary course has really helped him see how he can combine these things with his interest in film-making.
